We've reached the turning point of the summer. It's Lammas. In years previous I'd have done a little pagan celebration for Lammas but that seems to have fallen by the wayside in recent years. It's interesting how life goes in phases, for a while something is regular, then it disappears from life for years for no reason other than it stops happening.
None of that has any bearing on this image of a black pudding sandwich dad had for lunch. He's nearly 93 and still craves weird sandwiches like this. He used to love crisp sandwiches too. Good on him I say, he's a tonic in these times of 'don't eat this, don't eat that' government directives. The best advice is the old advice " a little bit of what you fancy does you good".
